Susanna Hartigan is writer from Florida. In addition to writing poetry, fiction, and nonfiction books and magazine articles, Susanna is an advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. Her story “Charidy’s Case” was chosen as a finalist for NPR’s Three-Minute Fiction Contest. Susanna’s first book, UNHEARD: a memoir, is based on her childhood experiences. Her second book, Pissed & Dissed: The Diary & Poetry of a Scorned Teenager, was published in 2011.
